Terms of use

The terms and conditions of the online store are valid from 22.12.2022 alkaen.

Online Store details: The Arctic Home, Heidi Kaihua. Id 07-3640569. Address: 96900 Rovaniemi. Phone +358407681375, email info@thearctichome.com The online store sells products to adult individuals in Finland and the EU. We reserve the right to change prices and delivery costs.

Ordering: Designs can be ordered on the online store's website by transferring them to the shopping cart and paying for the contents of the shopping cart at the checkout service. The Arctic Home handles all customer information and treats it confidentially. The contact information requested in connection with the order will not be used for anything other than the delivery of the order or to clarify any ambiguities in it, unless otherwise stated. When ordering from the online store, The Arctic Home requires that you have read and agreed to the current delivery terms.

Payment and payment methods: Payment will be made by an invoice, which received in your email within one day of ordering . You can also choose to make a cash payment, which is usually made upon collection.

Order and payment confirmation: When your order is successful, you will receive an order confirmation email. To send confirmation messages, you must provide an email address when ordering. Please note that confirmation messages may also go to the "spam" box in your email.

Delivery methods and costs: Shipping costs include postage and packaging. The Arctic Home delivers packages by mail. The designs are mailed in wave bags. The structure made of corrugated paper protects the contents, but is environmentally friendly, plastic-free and recyclable.

Delivery time: After receiving the order, the products will be shipped / delivered within 1-5 business days. We will notify the customer if the shipment is delayed due to congestion. We will not be liable for any delays caused by force majeure or for any indirect inconvenience caused by the delays. Deviating delivery times are announced on the front page of the online store.

Right of cancellation

Right of cancellation and return policy: All of our products are handmade by The Arctic Home, so please note that there may be a discrepancy between the designs image and the finished designs. Designs have a 14-day right of return if the design is defective or does not match the design you ordered. However, please note that there may be differences in color tones due to different batches of thread and display settings. If you are dissatisfied with the design, please contact first info@therctichome.com. The returned product must be unused, unchanged and in the original packaging. If the product we send is clearly defective, it will be repaired or replaced with a new one.

Unclaimed package: Unclaiming is not the same as refund or cancellation. For non-redeemed packages that have not been notified separately, we will charge a fee of EUR 20.

Problem situations: If the product is lost or damaged during transport or does not otherwise correspond to your order, you must report the defect within a reasonable time in writing to info@thearctichome.com. If the package is damaged at Posti, a complaint must be made about the product to Posti immediately.

The information in the register is not used for activities other than The Arctic Home online store.

The customer of the online store must fill in the contact information required to deliver the order in connection with the order, and his or her data will be stored in the online store's order information. Data will not be disclosed outside of The Arctic Home. The personal data of the person who placed the order will be destroyed at the request of the user. The information contained in the register will not be disclosed to third parties. The computer-based registry resides on a secure server. The register is not kept on paper. Right of inspection: According to section 26 of the Personal Data Act, the data subject has the right to check what information about him or her has been stored in the database. The inspection request will be sent to The Arctic Home e-commerce registrar in writing and signed by hand. The right of inspection is free of charge once a year.

Right of prohibition and right of removal: The data subject has the right to demand the correction of the incorrect information in the register or the complete deletion of the information.
